On June 5, 2013, surveys were completed and collected at a Community Meeting and the results are available here.

On January 14, 2014, a presentation of the main concepts of the Community Plan was given to the Board of Supervisors on to get the Board's buy in and support for the plan. You can view the presentation to the Board here.

On November 17, 2014, the Long Range Planning Staff presented a Community Planning Guide to the Board of Supervisors. The Guide and a video of the presentation are available here.

On December 5, 2017, the Board of Supervisors approved funding for Community Planning, with Shingle Springs being the prototype. The Shingle Springs Plan will potentially provide a template for our neighboring communities to create their own Community Plan.

As of March 15, 2018, County staff is working with members of the Shingle Springs Community Alliance to create a Request for Proposal (RFP) to hire a consultant to draft the Community Plan using the information gathered in 2013.
